As you might assume, this feature provides an elegant solution to typical CSS Grid difficulties.Container Queries, part of CSS-contain-3, allow authors to style elements based on their container’s size or look. CSS Grid is a versatile layout module that enables developers to create complex layouts without JavaScript or clumsy CSS hacks.Add the following rule to an HTML element to apply the grid layout..grid {

You may also make a one-dimensional subgrid by only using grid-template-columns or grid-template-rows and giving the other a different value.
In the example below, the subgrid merely adopted the primary grid’s columns, but it adds a separate rule for the rows.

}Unlike CSS flexbox, which can only move one way, grids allow you to specify both dimensions. Web designs are changing dramatically as they become more powerful and famous in the future decades. Grids within grids are drawn using nested grids. But what are the key drawbacks that have prompted the use of CSS subgrids?
After level 2, nested grids were used to overflow material outside the larger grid, significantly influencing a website’s responsiveness. Within the larger grid container, nested grids functioned as independent pieces. Therefore, there was no mention of the parent container in any of the changes.
You can add as many subgrids as you want. Subgrids inherit the parent grid-gap property, which is notable. It will result in all subgrids within each parent grid having the same gap attributes.
The best thing about subgrids is how responsive, adaptable, and scalable they are.
- CSS parent selector :has()
The :hasselector is unique among CSS selectors. The CSS:has() pseudo-class selector is comparable to:not(), which is also used in CSS functions. A dynamic pseudo-class function is what it’s called. It gives you the ability to fine-tune your element matching.If any selector supplied as an argument matches at least one element, the :has() pseudo-class will represent it!

- New Viewpoints Units
Setting viewport units is inconvenient for everyone who has tried to code a website for Safari iOS. When a container is set to vh size, the mobile browser shrinks it to fit the screen. Use a script that resizes the container for you to get around this bug. Apart from the inconvenience of loading a new script, several workarounds have negative consequences for Chrome users. When working with Viewport Units, Safari on iOS has a long-standing and vexing problem where the vh unit refuses to cooperate. When you set a container to 100vh, you’ll get an element that’s somewhat too tall: When calculating 100vh, MobileSafari disregards some of its UI.
Leaving the vh unit alone, the CSS Working Group included many additional viewport definitions to the css-values-4 specification, along with new viewport relative lengths:
svh/svw: 1% of the Small Viewport height/width
lvh/lvw: 1% of the Large Viewport height/width
dvh/dvw: 1% of the Dynamic Viewport height/width
- Overall Score Behavior
Consider a web page with a scrolling element that can be scrolled independently. However, when you conclude the scrolling, the following parent element is affected by default.
